We do this to ensure we comply with specific requirements of the appropriate regulators of our products and services.

What we do with the information we gather

We require your information to provide you with your carbon credits as you earn them, understand your needs and supply the best product and service we can and to satisfy the requirements of our product partners and regulators.

mytreefog.com will not share any information it holds with a third party, other than the partners that are supported on this site once the client has entered into a product or service contract with the wholesaler or provider. E.g. if you switch utilities supplier with us, we will exchange information with the wholesaler/supplier and visa versa.

We will not share information supplied by you in the sales process of a specific product or service with any other partners e.g. data collected during a utility switch with insurance companies, for marketing purposes.

All direct marketing will be controlled by mytreefrog.com and you will remain the client of mytreefrog.com in the context of such marketing, e.g. emailing new products and initiatives etc. unless you consent directly with partners to be notified by them directly for marketing purposes. Please note where you opt in to be contacted directly by product partners rather than access the services from the mytreefrog.com portal you will not be eligible for carbon credits on these transactions.

All information held about you by mytreefrog.com will be displayed in your Carbon Account and remain under your control at all times i.e. you can delate and add information within the data fields as you wish.

Any information you share with the product providers will be subject to their terms and conditions and privacy polices which will be displayed in full in the appropriate sections of the applicable website.

Please read out terms & conditions to understand the extent to which your basic information e.g. email address, is used to enable mytreefrog.com to keep track of new users and Carbon Account holder activity to enable the embedding of the carbon credits earned from the transaction.
