• What you can’t cut or easily control, offset.

So here’s what to do when you visit mytreefrog.com. 

The first thing to understand is we have two platforms, an open platform and a members platform. The open platform can be accessed and used without being a members of mytreefrog.com and using the services and products will result in a Carbon Account being opened on your behalf which will make you a member automatically.

To become a members and gain access to the members area of the site you will need to open a Carbon Account by registering with us. The benefit of membership is you will gain access to offers and discounts from our partners as well as receiving regular updates on offers from our partners and of course you earn credits every time you transact with us and our partners through our portal.

So,

• Just browse the open area of the site and use the product quoting systems to assess how much money you can save as a mytreefrog.com customer. Follow the guidance and steps in each browsing area of the site.
• When you buy a product or switch provider, you will earn a carbon credit (1 Tonne) or part of, depending on the product you obtain.
• Also if you buy or switch through us we will automatically open a Carbon Account for you, issue you with a username and password to your account, by email, as soon as we receive confirmation of the transaction by the product partner. In your Carbon Account you will be able to review your carbon status and download your carbon credit certificates if you want to.
• Visit the Personal Carbon page and use the simple guide to personal carbon grid, to approximate your annual CO2 emissions or complete the calculator. If you use the calculator the value of the CO2 emissions will be transferred to your Carbon Account when opened.
• Go to the 'Buy Stand Alone Credits area to buy free standing credits without a product or buy credits as gifts for family and friends, you can even offset events such as weddings and give the credits as a wedding present!

• Register with us using the registration section and open your own personal Carbon Account and have immediate access to all of our partners within the members section of the site.
• Visit the Personal Carbon page and use the simple guide to personal carbon grid, to approximate your annual CO2 emissions or complete the calculator. If you use the calculator the value of the CO2 emissions will be transferred to your Carbon Account.
• Don’t get too bogged down on this measure as it is difficult to be scientific due to the amount of variables in every day life. Work to averages and best guesses based on the big issues such as running your home and car, and if you are still concerned about the accuracy add a tonne for good measure.
• Visit the My Partner browsing areas to assess how much money could you save with our product offerings.
• Switch and buy products using our easy to navigate system.
• Visit the Stand Alone Credits area of the site to explore the cost of neutrality, remember we have already credited you with embedded credits from your switch or purchase so you top up the difference between the value you assessed by using the grid or calculator, minus the emended values within the products.
• Wait for you email to arrive with your account log in details and electronic credit certificates and carbon Account log in details.
• Tell everyone you know about us.
