You don't have to submit your details to the calculator, your Carbon Account will run fully and display your credits without a carbon measurement.

The purpose of this calculator is to create an indicative value for your carbon footprint. This calculator is not designed to be a scientific assessment of your lifestyle. We have made every effort to create an easy to use and rounded up estimation of the carbon emission values, based on the highest standards of research material available.

The value of your emissions for vehicles and flights are based on the following assumptions.

Vehicles

Figures are based on vehicles built from 2007 and are average values taken from makers such as BMW, VW, Land Rover, Lexus as examples.

Flights

The emissions for air travel vary depending on the class of ticket purchased, as such we have gone for averages between premium economy and business class.

If you are an economy flyer you can discount 25% of the value shown in the calculator for short haul and 30% for medium and long haul. You will be able to do this using the manual adjustment function within your Carbon Statement.
